Our Explorers Room is for children between two and three years of age.
Many aspects of learning in Explorers are brought together through engaging play and discussion. Each day, the children are able to enjoy one adult-focused activity as well as sensory play, imaginative play, number and shape puzzles, physical activities such as climbing and jumping, and plenty of stories and songs.
Our Explorers Room has a dedicated area for books, construction and painting, and the children are gently introduced to pre-reading and writing.
Parents are kept fully informed of their child’s activities, through weekly planners and daily diaries, as well as letters and newsletters. Parents are also invited to speak regularly with the Nursery team in person, to ask any questions that they may have and to help ensure that each child’s learning and development is fully supported.
