The Autumn term is always very exciting in Science as we welcome Form 2 into the lab. Our starting topic this term has been about materials and their uses. As we neared the end of the topic we had great fun deciding what materials an alien would like and what they would feel like. The children then made their own material alien, inspired by the story ‘Aliens love underpants’. They had to decide which materials to use to decorate their alien and describe why they had chosen them. There were even a few ‘tissue paper’ bloomers in sight!
