Just as the dust settles from a very busy Michaelmas term, and all the Christmas concerts we performed at, we have had an exciting start to the Hilary term.
Prep 5 and 6 children have worked hard to prepare for their auditions for their play – ‘Robin Hood and his Sherwood Hoodies’. What talent we have and I can’t wait to get started on the rehearsals and watch it come alive.
I took a few children to Denstone College for a choral day with other schools where our children experienced vocal training from professional singers, culminating in a lovely concert in the chapel with some of Denstone’s advanced music students.
We are also busy preparing for our Spring concert to be held on Tuesday March 19th at 7pm at the Forum theatre within the Potteries Museum. Please come and join us for a wonderful night of music.
