For Mother’s Day this year, each Nursery room welcomed lots of Mummies, Aunties and Grannies for a special Stay and Play session recently.
The Babies had a fun time gluing and sticking with their mummies and emptying and filling pink pots with pasta. They also enjoyed reading a story with their special person.
The Toddlers created a lovely flower card with their handprint and their mummies handprint on before presenting their gifts to their mummy. Aunties and Grannies took part in a free painting session and everyone enjoyed talking to the other children and adults that came to play.
The Explorers got to show their mummies what happens in Rhythm Time and Squiggle While You Wiggle Time! They also decorated hearts for their mummies and played with pink playdough.
The Little Learners made a flower with their mummies and had to find the letters ‘I’ and ‘U’ with a heart to place on the petals. We also made biscuits for a special treat.
The Early Learners enjoyed playing games with their mummies and grannies and decorated a little plant pot ready to plant something special. Showing our fine motor skills we also threaded the word ‘Mum’ onto material as a keepsake.
We loved having our Mummies, Aunties and Grannies to play and hope they enjoyed it too!
