Our Toddlers’ Room is for children aged between 16 months to two years.
The daily routine for our Toddlers includes breakfast, free play, outdoor activities, lunch, child-initiated activities and afternoon tea, as well as time for sleep after lunch.
Each day, there is one adult-focused activity for the children to take part in as well as creative activities each morning including sand, water, play dough, colouring, jelly play, painting, gluing and sticking.
We also benefit from our own role-play area and a cosy corner to curl up with a book and soft toys.
Children in our care also benefit from daily outdoor play, whatever the weather! Wearing rain suits and wellies for wet weather conditions, Toddlers are able to enjoy slides, tricycles, inflatable tents and balance beams. We also enjoy jumping on the gymnastics mat and taking part in Mini Me Yoga.
Parents are kept fully informed of their child’s activities, through weekly planners and daily diaries, as well as letters and newsletters. Parents are also invited to speak regularly with the Nursery team in person, to ask any questions that they may have and to help ensure that each child’s learning and development is fully supported.
